At our Market Center in Barcelona, we are expanding our team and currently looking for an Iberia Accounts Payable Manager:


The profile we are looking for will need to perform the following functions, based in Barcelona:

  • You will be responsible for the reliability and management of accounting closures.
  • Preparation of reports to control the main KPIs of the company.
  • Supporting in the preparation of Fix costs Budget and monthly deviation follow up.
  • Review of the balance sheet for each closing.
  • Management of monthly taxes (VAT, IRPF, prov IS).
  • Coordination of the AP invoice workflow, with the accounting team.
  • Supervision and preparation of the month's provisions.
  • Supervision of the Codification for the invoices of suppliers and resolution of doubts for the accountant’s team.
  • Coordinating the process of digital approval of the AP invoices.
  • Control the aging of suppliers.
  • Management of the SAP B1 assets module.
  • Manage the team of accountants under their supervision.
  • Supervision of travel policy and other policies usage.
  • Improvement of existing processes.
  • Preparation of Ad hoc projects.

Requisitos mínimos

The profile we seek must meet the following requirements:

  • Analytical person, with a strong eye for detail, proactive, experience of working in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
  • Previous management small team experience.
  • Previous experience with accounting closures.
  • Minimum 5 years in accounting department as general accountant.
  • Experience in analysis of deviations.
  • Technical and accounting knowledge.
  • Expertise in audits preparation and documentation to provide.
  • IFRS & GAAP rules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
  • Experience working with SAP& Navision or similar.
  • Accustomed to working to deadlines and making reports.
  • Focused on the development and improvement of the team.
  • Experience in managing closings in medium & large companies
  • Languages: Native Spanish and Catalan. Intermediate English.
